Certain sunrises stand out for their remarkable beauty, displaying a spectrum of colors against the morning sky, visible through the sparse trees where the few remaining leaves quiver in the breeze. Air quality has been challenging outdoors due to fires in New York City and New Jersey, which definitely affects my respiratory system. As a result, I cough a lot. Writing seems to have taken on a whole new meaning. I find myself engrossed in the revised direction of "Painted People." A friend, probably not the dearest of friends, once mentioned that none of the characters were likable except for Tyrone Belin, whom I found unlikable and still do. He also had a fondness for Miss Etha Lee, Tyrone's mother, who embodied all that is good and is not a schemer like the others. Therefore, I've been working on enhancing the portrayal of the main characters, although there isn't much change since they are as they are. I can guide them, but when writing, they seem to take on a life of their own. I suppose that's fair enough.
