Help me to see the ravens when I can’t see them yet. In a heat that feels like drought, I am reminded I am not alone. Last night was the worst heat I’ve ever felt — a sting that pressed against the skin, a heaviness that refused to lift, no breeze, no mercy. I felt behind because there was no breakthrough, nothing to mark the day as progress. Just the weight of it.
But today I am awake. I see the brilliant light of morning. I feel a breeze — faint, early, but real — where last night there was none. The air moves again. The world moves again. And the heat that overwhelmed me finally loosened its grip sometime in the darkness, just enough for sleep to find me. Let this be a day of grace. A day where breath returns. A day where the ravens appear, even if only in the corner of my imagination, reminding me that clarity comes in its own time.
