November brings the winds of change, thinning the leaves on the trees, while some days in the North still bask in the late summer warmth amidst stunning fall colors. It's been a notably dry autumn. Catching up after a lengthy weekend, the highlight was ensuring my dear Puerto Rican friend exercised his right to vote. Angered yet spurred into action by a comedian's distasteful remark about Puerto Rico, he cast his vote. That brought me joy.. The world is closing in
