Mission Dolores Basilica, located on Dolores Street at 16th, San Francisco, is a historic landmark and a testament to the city's rich cultural heritage.
When I resided on Dolores Street (in a three-story building with 9 apartments) in the sole apartment in that building with a sunroom, which served as my writing room overlooking a garden, Thomas and I would frequently retreat to Mission Dolores Basilica nearby. We strolled through the ancient cemetery, imagining ourselves in a scene from Hitchcock's "Vertigo," reenacting the moment James Stewart follows Kim Novak.
