City's breaking down on a camel's back They just have to go, 'cause they don't know wack So while you fill the streets, it's appealing to see You won't get out the county, 'cause you're bad and free

The atmosphere was better than the food. The drinks, too, were good. The waiters are not so smart, their English very bad. Expect to explain what you want a several times or perhaps I was just having an off night. The bartender was fantastic. But why I ordered the night's special Piña colada is beyond my own understanding. The drink gives me a terrible brain freeze that is disturbing with a feeling it'll be over in 3 minutes or less. To make up for it I ordered a shot of Jack since I can't handle Tequila very well and become somewhat of an evil Hyde afterwards.
"Even a dog distinguishes between being stumbled over and being kicked."
--Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., The Common Law The wait is not terribly long in the checkout line to buy water and healthy late-night snacks at Morton Williams. Lots of students from Fordham University shop here in the night with most of the chatty girls in groups scantily dressed.
I have everything I like Don’t need a wish tonight All we need is one night -Cashma, Hot Night If Catherine loved Heathcliff sexually, then their love would be inordinate. The love that Catherine feels for Heathcliff is not carnal love. Catherine believes that she loves Heathcliff not because she is physically attracted to him, but because she is emotionally attracted to him. After Edgar Linton asks Catherine to marry him, she tells Nelly, “Nelly, I am Heathcliff! He’s always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, any more than I am a pleasure to myself, but as my own being…” Catherine clearly states her feelings toward Heathcliff and their relationship. She feels that she is Heathcliff, meaning that without being physically one, they will still be one essence for eternity. (The Love between Heathcliff and Catherine in Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights) Ain't no faking, your money I'm taking Going coast to coast to watch all the girlies shaking While you're at the job working nine to five The Beastie Boys at the Garden, cold kickin' it live No sleep 'til Another plane, another train Another bottle in the brain Another girl, another fight Another drive all night -Beastie Boys, No Sleep Till Brooklyn Full of vaunting pride the New Yorker had climbed here and seen with dismay what he had never suspected that the city was not the endless succession of canyons that he had supposed but that it had limits - from the tallest structure he saw for the first time that it faded out into the country on all sides, into an expanse of green and blue that alone was limitless. And with the awful realization that New York was a city after all and not a universe, the whole shining edifice that he had reared in his imagination came crashing to the ground. That was the rash gift of Alfred W. Smith to the citizens of New York. -F. Scott Fitzgerald, "My Lost City" Feelin' like a psycho-freak sometimes Tryin' to get connected, no WiFi Tell me that you love me, are you lying? Gimme lemonade, I give you limes House in the hills is a house of cards Blink and the fairytale falls apart Sorry, didn't mean to get so dark Maybe I'm an alien, Earth is hard -Camilla Cabello, Pyschofreak Oh, what a night You know, I didn't even know her name But I was never gonna be the same What a lady, what a night |
